Built in the open,
for everyone.
Olgax is an open-first ecosystem of business tools. Our first product, Olgax POS, is a free, offline-capable point-of-sale system that small shops can self-host in minutes.
Our mission
Too many small business owners pay monthly fees for bloated SaaS products they barely use, or resort to pen and paper because nothing affordable fits their workflow.
We believe powerful business software should be free to use, free to modify, and free to run on your own hardware. That's why every Olgax product ships as MIT-licensed open-source code with Docker-based self-hosting as a first-class citizen.
For those who prefer managed convenience, we offer optional paid services: professional setup, training, and custom development. That's how we sustain the project without ever locking the core behind a paywall.
What we stand for
Open-source first
Everything we build starts as MIT-licensed, freely available code. The community comes before commercial interests.
Simple by default
Business tools shouldn't require an IT degree. We design for the shop owner, not the enterprise architect.
Self-hostable
Your data belongs to you. Every Olgax product runs on your own infrastructure with a single Docker command.
Community-driven
Feature priorities, bug fixes, and roadmap decisions are shaped by the people who actually use the tools.
Where we are today
Olgax POS v0.1 MVP is the first product. It's an offline-first point-of-sale system built with Next.js 16, PGLite (in-browser SQLite), and Better Auth. It works without an internet connection, prints ESC/POS receipts, handles loyalty points, and supports split-tender payments.
The roadmap includes multi-language support, multi-store management, a plugin system, kitchen display integration, and advanced reporting. All of it open-source.
Help us build it
